The OmniTicket system, Overview, is the most feature-rich, comprehensive ticketing and access control solution in the leisure entertainment industry.  Overview is a completely automated, real-time networked system for the operation and management of ticketing, admissions, retail operations and access control. 


 

Ticket Sales

Overview provides a fully integrated ticket sales module that includes comprehensive general admissions ticketing, annual/season pass ticketing, event/show ticketing, assigned seating ticketing, group sales and custom sales interface scripting functionality.


Any type of ticket configuration may be created and sold by the system.  Tickets can be configured to permit access to one or more defined site areas, for one or more dates and time periods (including specific future dates), for one or more persons (including groups), with or without capacity or time restrictions, at a precisely indicated cost to the guest. Overview then tracks all the sales data and use of the issued tickets through the on-line network of access control.

Custom Up-Sell Option for Sales Stations

Overview offers a “Custom Up-sell Script” add-on option that allows our clients to design a customized interface to guide their cashiers and guests through the sales process by highlighting promotions, suggesting special offers, or selecting package components.  This unique feature is now being used at the world’s largest attractions.

Reporting and Statistics

The Overview Supervisor module allows real-time monitoring of the current status and historical behavior of overall site activity, operators, workstations, sales station groupings (such as the sales stations at a specific area), tickets sold, payment activity, reservations activity, agent activity and access usage. Comprehensive and flexible security exists at the field viewing and modification level.

Client Account Management

The Overview Supervisor module enables comprehensive and secure management of client accounts used for reservations and group sales, including financial tracking of payments and credit terms, and comprehensive reporting on client activity.

Integrated Marketing Tools

Marketing surveys can be created in the system, and the response data can then be collected from guests during regular sales transactions and viewed within the Overview Supervisor module.  The data can also be exported into our data warehouse (or an external SQL database) in order to analyze the data and create useful reports.  Also, promotions, such as coupons and discount offers, can be created, managed and reported on electronically to track the success of each promotion.

Workflow Management

Within the Overview Supervisor module, detailed statistics of sales and access history are available in real-time in either chart or report format to enable supervisors to manage workflow more efficiently.  A Budget Projection database is available to allow supervisors to project attendance and record information about discrepancies to projections for future use.

Cash Management

The Overview Supervisor module offers a comprehensive array of online reporting and cash management tools. Pre-defined cash funds can be automatically assigned to cashiers as they sign in if desired, or manually assigned online by a supervisor. Each cashier can be restricted to the payment types and amounts allowed, and their funds can be viewed online by a supervisor at anytime during the day. Electronic cash lifts or cash buys can be processed online when needed, and notification of high cash levels can be automatically displayed. A complete transaction journal can be printed anytime for audit purposes. A General Activity report that lists all payment types and amounts taken and all tickets sold is automatically printed in the cash control office whenever a cashier balances out. The cash control personnel can see an online “deposit slip” showing the cashiers balance out sheet in addition to the printed deposit slip. Combined reports on sales and collected revenue can be accessed at any time by authorized users.

Other Key Managerial Functions

  • Special event (show) set-up, management and reporting;
  • Season/Member and Employee Pass-holders management and reporting;
  • Electronic Mail bulletins, generic messages and authorizations messages;
  • Seller program management- the Seller feature allows the creation of sellers (internal or external sales representatives) with defined commission rates.  Sellers are then linked to a sale or reservation and the commission is calculated, tracked and available for reporting;
  • Foreign Currency exchange rate management.

 

System Configuration

The strength and flexibility of the Overview system lies in the System Configuration module (SYS). This module is the central administrative tool for the Overview System, and is used to adapt the system to meet the unique needs of each client venue.


For example, within SYS: Payment methods and settings are configured to allow processing of up to 16 different forms of payment, including currency, all major credit cards, foreign currency, personal checks, traveler’s checks, vouchers, and various credit options and optional payment types.

 

Photo ID Processing

Many venues require a quick, efficient method of producing photo ID cards for season passes, club memberships, or employee badges. The OTN PIC Station produces high quality ID cards with black and white or color photos in about 20 seconds, using bar code and/or magnetic strip coding on PVC media. The ID cards are produced using a live video or digital photo image with unlimited retakes and the operator can control the image quality and reprints.
